Introduction Information Technology, as we know, is the technology that merges computing with high speed communication links carrying data, sound and video. The Under Graduate program in the Information Technology has been designed to learn and master the basic concepts and apply them in real world problems. The department conducts four-year B.E. degree course in Information Technology of the University of Mumbai which started in the academic year 2001-2002. This course was started to meet the growing demand in the world market for skilled I.T. professionals.
